

If the room doesn't need a huge space then don't give it a huge space. The area you are given to build in is pretty small, so you need to be smart with space, I experimented with the game and found out that the game does not support separate floors of the village at the early stage so be economical with the space. You plant a flag in the HUB and a NPC comes to the town and you start building rooms. This game wants you to work through the story to do all that and you know what? The story is actually pretty fun. If you are looking for a game to "free build" right from the start then this may not be for you, you need to finish all 4 chapters of the game to unlock that option. This is a nice progression system because the story is very important in the game.
